Phyllis Jean Chapman-Crawford-Pottol, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away August 15, 2019. She was born March 30, 1934, in Summersville, West Virginia to James Chapman and Alice Thomas. She had a long career with the State of California working for Workman’s Compensation retiring in 2005 and relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada, eventually moving back to Indianapolis. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Clark and her son-in-law, Donald Clark; sons, Gary Crawford and Kenneth Crawford; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Richard Crawford, her husband of 24 years Kenneth Pottol, and her brother Bill Thomas. She was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother and she will be missed. Private family service will be on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.
